We are thrilled to announce that The Community Market Board of Directors has selected and hired an Outreach Coordinator. Co-op member Stacey Sherman from the Fuquay-Varina area has accepted the position. Stacey brings a breadth and depth of membership and marketing experience, which were key skills we in our search.
The goal is that you’ll be seeing a lot more of the co-op out in the community and on social media. Stacey’s sole focus as a paid employee (our first employee!!!) will be raising awareness and members. This is important because the board has several things on its plate in the next 6-8 months: financial pro forma, site considerations and launching a capital campaign.
The position of Outreach Coordinator is CRITICAL to making all those other things happen. Why? Because the co-op needs members if it is every going to move from one step to another and that much closer to opening the doors.
